Hi, I’m Danny, a family photographer based in Playa Vista with a love for capturing the authentic moments that make your crew unique. I’ve been behind the camera for over 10 years, and in addition to photography, I’m also an elementary school teacher, which means I’m right at home with energetic toddlers, shy little ones, and everything in between. When I’m not shooting or teaching, you can usually find me at the beach, surfing, playing music, or spending time with family. My goal is always to create a relaxed, fun experience that feels natural, and photos that you’ll genuinely treasure for years to come.
When Dylann showed up with her husband and six year old son, the skies were gray and heavy, the kind of weather that usually makes families nervous before a shoot. But overcast light is secretly a photographer’s dream: soft, even, and perfect for capturing genuine connection. What followed was one of my favorite sessions to date, playful, relaxed, and full of the kind of moments you cannot pose. By the end, the gloomy weather felt less like bad luck and more like part of the magic.
